Dr. Rebecca Wingfield, DVM

Dr. Rebecca Wingfield is a native of Fayette County, Pennsylvania and has lived here since the age of four. When she was just 15 years old, she obtained her first job as a veterinary technician working for Dr. James “Doc” Davidson. She continued working at Davidson’s Clinic for seven years. After her high school graduation in 1997, Dr. Wingfield’s desire and love of animals inspired her to further her education at the Pennsylvania State University and eventually West Virginia University where she graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Animal and Veterinary Science. While working on her degree, she went to work for VCA Animal Hospital, Castle Shannon in Pittsburgh, PA in 2001. After working on her master’s at WVU, Dr. Wingfield went on to The Ohio State University where in 2006 she received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. That same year, Becky moved south where she spent a year in Wilmington, North Carolina providing care to small animals at a nationally recognized animal hospital.

In July of 2007, Dr. Wingfield then moved back to her native Fayette County, PA, where she worked for the same nationally recognized hospital in Washington, PA that she did in North Carolina. She also performed relief work for a local veterinarian. Currently, Dr. Wingfield resides in Farmington, PA with her husband Jason, 3 sons, and daughter, as well as multiple furry family members.
